Focus Timer is built to work without collecting your personal data. This page explains exactly what the app does and does not do.

No account, no tracking

Focus Timer does not require you to create an account or sign in. The app does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind, and does not share data with third parties for tracking or advertising purposes.

Data stored on your device

Your timer settings, focus session history, and streaks are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud sync.

iCloud sync (optional)

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, Focus Timer uses Apple's iCloud key-value storage to sync your settings, statistics, and selected theme across your own devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud account, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, and is never accessible to us.

Purchases

Focus Timer Pro is sold through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple — we never see or store your payment information. We only receive confirmation of whether you own a Pro entitlement.

Apple Watch companion

The Apple Watch app communicates directly with your iPhone over Apple's on-device Watch Connectivity framework to mirror your timer. No data is sent to any server.
